The Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) is the national professional body representing automobile technicians and auto-repair professionals across Nigeria. Our membership includes technicians and artisans working in areas such as engine repair and servicing, auto-electrical repairs, vulcanizing, panel beating, auto-body building, welding, auto-spraying, and other automotive services.
Our Journey: A Timeline of Success
With a history dating back to 1919, NATA has evolved into a nationwide organisation representing automobile technicians across the country. The association was formally registered in 1962 and later became the Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association in 2000, under registration number RC 4596. Today, NATA works to unite and strengthen automobile technicians while promoting professionalism and better standards across the industry.

NATA is committed to protecting and advancing the interests of automobile technicians, improving their skills and working conditions, and promoting professionalism within Nigeria’s automotive sector. We organise training programmes, workshops and seminars, support members through welfare initiatives, and help technicians adapt to developments in automotive technology.
